Acoustic Engineer/Consultant

We currently have a vacancy in our Acoustic Consultancy and Engineering division and are looking to employ motivated and committed individuals to join our established team of experienced professionals. The position would ideally suit graduates with at least 2 years experience in acoustic consultancy or engineering though candidates with relevant and current experience in the field will also be considered particularly if this includes a working knowledge of mechanical services engineering and noise control. A working knowledge and use of BB93, NPPF, architectural acoustics Approved document E sound insulation would be also an advantage. Additional in house training will be provided and the position offers an excellent opportunity for employees to develop and work with an established practice of friendly and dedicated people. The position will include both office and field work (surveys and Client liaison) with a strong emphasis on cultivating and continuing existing/new Client relationships along with opportunities to join a Company administered pension scheme/receive private medical insurance (BIK). Salary £20k -£35k pa commensurate with experience and ability.

 

Junior CAD Technician

We currently have a vacancy in our Engineering and Design department for a junior CAD Technician. The position requires as a minimum proficient use of  Autocad LT 2015 though experience and competence in Revit would be a significant advantage as would prior experience with mechanical services design/drawing. Candidates should also have good numeracy and computer skills, be self motivated, diligent and have the ability to work as part of a dedicated team. Knowledge of engineering principles would also be an advantage along with material properties, construction methods and manufacturing processes. Additional in house training will be provided specific to the drawing and engineering associated with the field of noise control. The position includes opportunities to join a Company administered pension scheme and receive private medical insurance (BIK). Salary £15k -£20k pa commensurate with experience and ability.
